What does the THRUSTPAC do?

How much does the THRUSTPAC weigh?
We offer models from 12 lbs. to 20 lbs but you can request a specific weight and we can probably custom build it!!
How fast does it go?
Top speed depends on the device you ride, your size and weight.... and the thrust produced by the Model of THRUSTPAC you purchase. Generally 25 to 35 MPH on a bike and much slower in a canoe!!
How does the THRUSTPAC work?
Generally a gas motor is connected to a propeller and forces air rearward to produce forward thrust. You put it on like a backpack and slip the CONTROL GLOVE onto your hand. Pull on the over the shoulder starter and control the speed by bending your finger to speed up and relax it to slow back to an idle!! The CONTROL GLOVE enables you to operate the handbrakes and handlebars of your bicycle, canoe paddles, ski poles or wheel chair wheels while simultaneously maintaining COMLETE CONTROL of the THRUSTPAC!! One touch of the KILL SWITCH on the CONTROL GLOVE and the motor stops!!
What does the THRUSTPAC run on?
Depending on the model you sellect, regular gasoline or an approved blend of gasoline and oil. (Custom electric, propane or turbo-jet models will require special recommendations).
How much does a THRUSTPAC cost?
As there is a wide range of uses, sizes and weights of users, options, accessories and features available, We will recommend the model and specifications after you submitt your order form. EACH THRUSTPAC IS MADE TO YOUR PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS so it fits YOU and it is UNIQUE!! Generally 895.00 to 1999.00 for standard Models.
Who can use the THRUSTPAC?
We recommend users be 18 years and older in sound physical condition. You must be able to propel youself on the devices of your choice without the THRUSTPAC and posess the balance and skills required to operate those devices safely.
How long will it take to receive my THRUSTPAC after I order it?
After your order is finalized with all features, sizes, options, colors, measurements and graphics selected by you and agreed upon, approx. 3 to 6 weeks. Rush orders will cost more.
How hard does it push?
Depending on the Model you choose, 10 to 20 lbs of thrust at full throttle. We can offer more on a custom basis.
Why don't you just mount the THRUSTPAC to the bicycle?
The greatest feature of the THRUSTPAC is VERSATILITY!! Just step off your bike and into the canoe and away you go. Mounting the THRUSTPAC would limit it to one device. Also the CONTROL GLOVE may be attached so the THRUSTPAC must remain with the user untill the CONTROL GLOVE is removed. If you have a favorite device we can and will design a quick release mount system for that device but it will require the Wireless remote CONTROL GLOVE option.
Is it loud?
The THRUSTPAC motors are very quiet. The propellers make the sound you are familiar with on an airplane. We like the sound as it alerts pedestrians and motorists we're coming and they're more aware and cautious because of the attention we receive.
How much gas does it hold?
Generally 25 to 40 miles on one tank of 20 to 30 ounces!! On bicycles we carry a container of gas in our cages where cyclists carry water so we have a reserve!!
